Today, we'd like to recognize L-614 (New London, Connecticut), retiring Business Manager of 18 years Frank Ward, for his dedication to the brotherhood. He was passionate about the Boilermakers LEAP Program and his work with the shipyards. Like the time L-614 members built the Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, the New Hampshire, in record time: http://ow.ly/b1fT50OAYzu

"He's been our Business Manager for 18 years and helped build our local into one of largest locals. He's been a solid union supporter and stood tall for our union brothers and sisters." - L-614 member Mike Bushek
