As advocates for safety in the fashion community, MAAC - Model & Artist Advocacy Council, Inc. stands alongside anyone wanting to shine a light on violations of professional standards. No one walks alone.

MAAC condemns any form of misconduct within the fashion industry and reiterates our unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all models, artists, and professionals involved. We believe in fostering a culture that promotes respect, dignity, and equality.

We encourage anyone who has experienced any form of misconduct, harassment, or uncomfortable situations within the fashion community to come forward and share their concerns. MAAC is here to support and advocate for you.

Together, we can create an inclusive and respectful fashion community that thrives on the principles of safety and ethical practices. We must stand united, continue to raise awareness, and actively work towards eradicating any instances of misconduct within our industry.

MAAC stands firm in its commitment to upholding professional standards and ensuring the safety and well-being of all those who contribute to the vibrant and diverse world of fashion.

Our community does not tolerate misconduct in any form, and we will not be silent.

What are some tips we missed?

‼️Models, often young and eager, will jump at an agency that wants to represent them.
MODELS BEWARE! Always be sure to research who you are about to do business with.
Agencies should not lock you in for years at a time, charge for upfront fees or excessive classes, and they certainly shouldn't dissuade you from asking questions.
Always review contracts before signing so you don't regret anything in the future.
