After more than 30 years in the credit industry and multiple decades as a member of NACM Heartland, Randy Bures will soon be starting a well-earned retirement.
Throughout his career, Randy has embodied the spirit of NACM Heartland through service, leadership, and a commitment to helping others grow. Over the years, he has served on the Board of Directors, taught Financial Statement Analysis, shared his expertise as an educational presenter, and built lasting relationships with credit professionals across the region.
When asked what advice he would give those just starting their careers, Randy's answer reflects the leadership philosophy that has defined his success:
"It's never about me; it's always about we. Being a team player, supporting your fellow employees, and giving your best every day will take you as far as you want to go."
Randy credits NACM Heartland with helping him build lifelong professional relationships, expand his perspective on credit management, and continually sharpen his skills. His message to fellow members is simple: stay active, keep learning, and invest in the relationships that make our industry stronger.
As he enters retirement, Randy is looking forward to something many professionals can appreciate: having greater control over his schedule, nurturing friendships, and being fully present for family milestones.
