The Green Tie Gala is Back! 💚

After a special hiatus, one of Kansas City’s most meaningful and anticipated evenings is returning. We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Green Tie Gala, taking place August 15, 2026 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown – Muehlebach Tower.

This elegant evening brings our community together for fine dining, captivating entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a powerful mission moment all in support of pediatric blood cancer research. This year’s gala benefits Blood Cancer United's Dare to Dream initiative, a groundbreaking effort focused on advancing safer, more effective treatments for children with blood cancer. OPES Charitable Foundation has proudly committed $1.5 million to this mission.

The Green Tie Gala is a rare and unforgettable experience, held only once every few years and we cannot wait to gather again in support of this special mission!
