Scouts in the Troop experience many forms of leadership and individual growth from rank advancement requirements to earning merit badges in a variety of areas. Monthly campouts reinforc

e the importance of teamwork, responding to adversity and being prepared. Scouts also are involved in the community through service projects such as the Blue River cleanup as well as food, clothing and blood drives. Eagle Scout projects benefit a variety of worthy causes while teaching boys the discipline and principles of leadership. Our meetings are usually held on the first and third Monday nights of each month, with some adjustments for holidays. Normally, meetings are held in the basement of the parish ministry center at 2 East 75th Street. Elizabeth's, or on Zoom, depending on the weather. Youth from 5th grade to age 18 may join scouts. Tomorrow is Blue River Rescue!! Meet at the Scout Room at 8:30am - Pickup after at Lakeside Nature Center 12:30pm. Dress warm with coats, hiking boots, and stocking hats!! You could get dirty! See everyone there!!!!

Volunteers will pick up storm drain trash along banks and illegal dumps on adjacent roads.
