The votes are in….we had a wonderful turn out again this year! Thank you to all participants and a HUGE grateful thank you to the Kanopolis Fire Department for their generous donation of the hotdogs this year! Winners please stop by City Hall to collect your prize sometime this week!!!

Mark your calendars for this years Trunk or Treat contest!! As always Kanopolis Rec will be handing out hotdogs and chips!!! Can’t wait to see all the trunks!!!

This year we will also have a list of local addresses you can swing by afterwards for traditional trick or treating as not everyone can join us at Main Street! If you would like added to the list please call Deb at City Hall 472-4732.

Kanopolis Fort Harker dodgeball tournament was again an incredible success, inspiring us all with its amazing turnout! We had 40 competitors and 6 teams, a true testament to the power of small town spirit!

This year was a little more streamlined and smooth thanks to the generous donation made by Rich and Meredith Vargo, a shining example of kindness and generosity! All participants played for free and then also received monetary prizes thanks to their selfless act, a wonderful reminder that we all have the power to make a positive impact! The competitors and Kanopolis Recreation Committee cannot express our heartfelt gratitude enough, we are truly humbled by the outpouring of support! Also a huge Thank You to Richard Anschutz for always being an amazing referee, your dedication is truly inspiring!!!

Please share any action photos you may have captured and it’s never too early to start lpracticing for next year, let the excitement build!

And yes, before anyone freaks out, there were 3 ‘adults’ who helped some younger boys out - but they had somewhat altered rules, they were not rough, and the referee monitored them like a hawk!

Fort Harker Volleyball was truly an unforgettable year! Fantastic teams, amazing camaraderie, and incredible times!!!! Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, and watched!! It’s always uplifting to see the park full!!!! My apologies, I did not get a pic of every team like I wanted - so please share any photos you may have taken!!!!!
