One week from today 37 young women will all travel to compete for the title of Miss North Carolina. As the last week of preparation is here, I am fully trusted in God‘s plan, knowing that his timing never fails. I am so grateful for the village that has helped me prepare since November when I was crowned as your Miss Carolina Foothills. I know that I’ve worked so hard and I cannot wait for these amazing judges to see what I bring to the stage.🤍

Some stories change your life. Others become the reason you spend your life serving others.

I’m incredibly honored to share my story in the newest issue of TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) Magazine. Writing these words wasn’t easy, because they come from one of the hardest chapters of my life….the loss of my dad. But I’ve learned that even the deepest grief can become a source of purpose.

For years, I wondered what my father’s legacy would be. Now, I see it in every family I meet through Beyond the Ribbon, every child who finds comfort in Daddy’s Star, and every conversation that reminds someone they are not alone.

Thank you to TAPS for giving surviving children and families a place to tell our stories. I hope that if you’re walking through grief, loss, or uncertainty, these pages remind you that healing doesn’t mean forgetting. Love never leaves us, it simply changes form.

Daddy, this one’s for you. ⭐🇺🇸❤️

There are so many people working behind the scenes to make the Miss America Opportunity possible, and today I’m especially grateful for Lenoir-Rhyne University.

Thank you for your continued support of the Miss Morganton Scholarship Pageant and for investing in young women through education, leadership, and service. Your partnership helps create opportunities that extend far beyond the stage, empowering delegates to grow into leaders in their communities.

There’s something special about getting to serve the community that raised you. ❤️

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Hickory Police Department and Hickory Fire Department as Miss Carolina Foothills. It was an honor to meet some of the incredible men and women who work tirelessly each day to keep our hometown safe.

Whether responding to emergencies, protecting our neighborhoods, or serving others in times of need, these first responders embody selflessness, courage, and dedication. Their commitment to Hickory does not go unnoticed, and I am so grateful for all they do for our community.

Thank you for your service and for making Hickory such a wonderful place to call home. 🚔🚒❤️

In just two weeks, I’ll step onto the Miss North Carolina stage in an evening gown that is so much more than a dress it truly is a reflection of my heart, my story, and my why. ✨

I am incredibly grateful to Tracy and McKenzie Faggart at McKenzie Jades for helping bring this vision to life. From the very beginning, they listened to my story and created something that allows me to stay true to who I am while sharing the mission that means so much to me.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and I cannot wait to debut this gown and share the meaning behind it with all of you. Thank you for believing in me, supporting my journey, and creating something more beautiful than I could have imagined. 💛✨

So much fun dancing toward not only summer, but Miss North Carolina week with this bright and shining Carolina Star!🌟 I am so grateful for the Miss America Little Sister program that has allowed me to inspire young girls across the state and encourage them that they too can make a difference in their community, no matter how old you are.💓🕺🩰

One of the most meaningful moments of my Beyond the Ribbon Tea was our balloon release. As each balloon floated into the sky, it carried a name, a memory, and story of someone loved. Someone missed. Someone still fighting. Someone who once changed lives.

Cancer affects every family differently, but one thing remains the same, every person deserves to be remembered. Every story deserves to be told. Every life deserves to be honored.

Yesterday we released balloons not only in memory of those we have lost, but in honor of survivors, caregivers, fighters, and families whose lives have been forever changed by cancer. Because in the end nobody fights alone. 🎗️🤍

My heart is so full after today’s Beyond the Ribbon Tea. 💗🎀

What started as a simple idea to bring people together in support of families affected by cancer turned into such a meaningful afternoon filled with community, remembrance, hope, and connection. From signing copies of my books to sharing stories, honoring loved ones, and ending the day with a beautiful balloon release, every moment was incredibly special.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, donate, and support this mission. Your kindness and generosity mean more than I can put into words.

A special thank you to Amber Potts, , for joining us today. I am so grateful for sister queens like her who continually show up, support others, and make such a positive impact in our communities. 💕

I can’t wait to share more photos from this unforgettable day, but for now, thank you to everyone for helping make the very first Beyond the Ribbon Tea such a success. 🎗️✨
