Come out and support our Post on our country’s 250th birthday!

We’ll have outdoor games, burgers, hotdogs, and sides, ice cream cones, state-wide raffle tickets for sale, and did we mention dollar beers?

Dine-in only, from 11 am to 2 pm at Post 8989.

🇺🇸 With Memorial Day approaching, we are reminded that each fold of a flag holds meaning. The final fold however, the one right before the flag is cradled and handed to a grieving family, says what words cannot. We pause in silence for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor their memory, their families, and the weight of every fold that tells their story. We will never forget.

Join us Monday, May 25 for a Memorial Day Event at Veterans Park at 119 N. Main Street, Kannapolis. A procession will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street followed by a program at 12 noon in Veterans Park. There will be a keynote speaker, and the ceremony will also include special music performances.

The event is hosted by the Beaver-Pittman American Legion Post 115, the Poston-Perkins Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8989, the American Legion Auxiliary and the City of Kannapolis. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
