🎄🇺🇸It was truly an honor for the members of Cannon Memorial Lodge #626 to participate in Wreaths Across America in our local community this holiday season.

Together, we gathered to remember and honor our deceased veterans, placing wreaths as a symbol of gratitude for their service, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to our country. Standing among these markers is a powerful reminder that freedom is not free and that their legacy lives on through remembrance.

We are proud to take part in an event that ensures our fallen heroes are never forgotten. Thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful tribute possible.

We remember. We honor. We teach. 🇺🇸🎄

On behalf of the brothers of Cannon Memorial Lodge #626 and all in attendance, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Worshipful Brother Fred Carter on receiving his 50-Year Certification Award as a Certified Lecturer. This is a remarkable milestone and a testament to a lifetime of dedication to Masonry.

WB Fred, a Mason for 62 years and Past Master in 1973, has raised over 300 Masons and is widely admired for his commitment to coaching candidates word-perfectly. Many fondly remember his ice cream snacks in the freezer during coaching sessions and, of course, the unmistakable sound of the train whistle from his garage.

In addition to his service within the lodge, WB Fred has been an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years, further enriching the Masonic family.

This award, presented to WB Fred by Most Worshipful Brother Mac Sigmon, celebrates not only 50 years as a Certified Lecturer but also a lifetime of faithful service, mentorship, and brotherly love. Thank you Fred for all you have done for Masonry!
