Last week, these three boys were sleeping on the streets.
Tonight they are safe, sleeping in warm beds at Shelter Yetu.
But at Shelter Yetu, we know that a warm bed and three meals a day aren't enough. Years of research show that children need the love, stability, and belonging that only a family can provide.
That's why each of these boys is surrounded by a team of caring professionals who are helping them heal from trauma while also working to restore safe family relationships. Through counseling, family tracing, parenting support, economic empowerment, and ongoing case management, we are equipping their families to provide the love and care these boys deserve.
These boys are on their way home.
