Empty Bowls: Kankakee County Empty Bowls: Kankakee County is a community event to raise funds & awareness for local hunger relief.

Guests buy a ticket for a simple meal & take home a piece of pottery, an "empty bowl," which they keep as a reminder of food insecurity in our community.

💙 We are proud to partner with Empty Bowls Kankakee County 💙

United Way of Kankakee & Iroquois Counties was honored to serve as the fiscal agent for Empty Bowls Kankakee County for the second year, supporting an event that directly benefitted five local food pantries and programs.

The generous gift designated to United Way will support our Food Security Fund, which currently helps sustain seven local food security programs working to address hunger right here in our community.

Together, we are strengthening food access and making a meaningful impact for local families. 🍲💙
