Who are we? Kankakee County Drug Free, Inc is a non-profit organization established to raise funds to assist in the support of the participants in Kankakee County’s Problem Solving Courts comprising our Drug Court Treatment Program and the newly established Mental Health Treatment Court. Our Problem Solving Courts offer eligible participants a proven alternative to prison by providing treatment op
tions and a system of accountability. Participants learn the life skills necessary to be healthy, sober, and productive members of our society. Problem Solving Courts have shown that many graduates go on to give back to our community by not only sharing their experiences, but helping others recover from addiction and/or mental illness.
