Invest in Your Game. Invest in Your Future.

The Rising Phoenix Jaycees, in partnership with Kalākaua District Park, is proud to offer a FREE Teen Volleyball Clinic dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes.

This clinic is designed to strengthen fundamental skills, build confidence, promote teamwork, and foster a positive learning environment for players of all experience levels. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to refine your game, our coaches are committed to helping every participant improve.

Join us for our June General Membership Meeting at Magic Island from 2:00–4:00 PM!

Whether you’re a longtime member, new to RPJ, or just curious about what we do, we’d love to have you there. Come connect with great people, hear what’s ahead for the rest of the year, enjoy some grass volleyball, and spend the afternoon building friendships and community.

🍴 Potluck-style! If you’re able, bring a dish, snack, dessert, or beverage to share. We’ll also have light refreshments available.

Back in March, we had the honor of attending the Hawaii Kai Jaycees Awards & Installation Banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of the chapter and the transition of leadership.

Congratulations to incoming Chapter President Romance Sowad as you begin your term. We wish you and your board continued success throughout the rest of the year as you lead with purpose, strengthen your chapter, and make a lasting impact in the community.

Mahalo to outgoing President Brosnan Dumayas for your dedication, leadership, and service throughout your term. Your hard work has laid a strong foundation for the chapter’s continued success.

Congratulations as well to all of the award recipients on your well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing all that the Hawaii Kai Jaycees accomplish throughout the rest of the year. Wishing everyone a successful and impactful Jaycee year ahead!

April GMM is going down at Aiea Bowl—good vibes, good people, and some friendly competition. Come bowl, connect, or just hang out.

We’ll also be running through announcements and opening the floor for feedback, so come through and be part of the conversation.

We sent out an email to all members on April 20 with full details—be sure to check it out.

RPJ had the opportunity to attend this year’s Senate Dinner—one of those nights that brings everything back to what this organization is really about.

Not just positions or titles, but years of showing up, doing the work, and continuing to serve long after the role ends.

Big congratulations to Eric Barsatan and Mislyn Alensonorin on being recognized as Outstanding JCI Alumni Honorees. Their journeys look different, but both reflect the same thing—commitment over time. From Eric’s work across entrepreneurship, healthcare, and community service, to Mislyn breaking barriers in leadership and continuing to build through people and organizations, the impact speaks for itself.

As a young president stepping into this role, being surrounded by those who have come before me gives me a deeper understanding of what JCI really stands for. It’s inspiring, and honestly a privilege to witness firsthand.

Grateful for the opportunity to be there, to learn, and to continue building on that foundation in our own way.

🔥✨ Our chapter had the honor of attending the JCI Honolulu Awards & Installation Night!

Congratulations to Anna Asian on being installed as the new President of JCI Honolulu. We are excited to see the leadership and impact you will bring in the year ahead.

A heartfelt mahalo and congratulations as well to outgoing President Brad Ramos for your dedication and service throughout your term. Your leadership has helped strengthen the chapter and inspire the next generation of Jaycees. 👏

This year’s theme, Carpe Diem — Seize the Day, is a powerful reminder for all of us as Jaycees to take action, embrace opportunity, and continue making a positive difference in our communities.
