Represented by the Ko`olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club, these ahupua`a include Kane`ohe at the southern end, through He`eia, Kahalu`u, Waihe`e, Ka`alaea, Wai`ahole, Waikane, Hakipu`u and Kualoa. The Ko`olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club is a non-profit community organization dedicated to the perpetuation of the Native Hawaiian culture, our heritage and our people. Our membership is comprised of Native Hawaiians and "Hawaiians at heart", and is open to anyone interested in supporting cultural, educational and service programs primarily in the Ko`olaupoko area on the Windward side of the island of O`ahu, Hawai`i.

The Land Conservation Workshop brought together nonprofit, community, city, state, and federal partners to discuss how land can be acquired and protected for conservation and agricultural purposes. The workshop will air on ʻŌlelo TV, Channel 49, on October 8, 12, 13, and 14.

E hele mai, come and join us this Saturday, Sept. 5, for the 2026 Na Mele Ko`olaupoko original song composers competition at Windward Mall - hear 20 brand new mele written about something special in Ko`olaupoko. The beautiful sounds begin at 10 a.m. No be late! :-)

DEADLINE EXTENDED! We are pleased to announce that the deadline for entries to the 2026 Na Mele Ko`olaupoko Original Song Composers competition has been extended until Aug. 12th! We are excited to see so many beautiful mele being written and entered into this competition, thanks to the kokua of a Kamehameha Schools grant. Maika`i!

Aloha friends! Auwē… we are sorry we have not been very present on social media. Please join us for our monthly membership meeting tomorrow night, Aug. 4, 2026 at Windward Community Collegeʻs Hale Aʻo. Potluck style dinner at 6:30pm followed by meeting at 7:00pm. Discussion includes general business, updates from committees, a presentation from the Nā Mea Hawaiʻi committee as part of the Hōʻike Hawaiʻi Series, and updates about the exciting Nā Mele Koʻolaupoko Composers Competition!
