Our location is behind the Kaneohe Police station and Kaneohe Public Library.

The Friends of Kaneohe Library is welcoming new volunteers! We are a not for profit organization of volunteers who collect, clean and organize donated books, CDs and DVDs. All proceeds go to support the Kaneohe Library. Volunteers get first pick of donated books, CDs and DVDs. Come and join us. Stop and visit or send an email to [email protected].

We are open Sundays 11-3PM, Mondays 2-6PM, Wednesdays 12-3PM and Fridays 11-3PM.

August Sale at the FKL Bookstore. Due to the generosity of our many customers, we have an abundance of books popular authors in Thrillers and Mysteries, Young Adults and Romance books.
Our August Sale features 5/$1 sales on Young Adults, Romance and Select Thrillers 5/$1. The authors oon sale include, James Patterson, Nora Roberts, JD Robb, Clive Cussler, Christine Feehan, Lee Childs, Tom Clancy, Jack Higgins, David Baldacci, Catherine Coulter, Mary Higgins Clark, and Danielle Steele

The FKL Bookstore is located under the Kaneohe Library. The bookstore is open Sunday 11-3 PM, Monday 2-6 PM, Wednesday 12-3 and Friday 11-3. Donations are accepted on Wednesday and Sunday. The FKL Bookstore is a nonprofit with all proceeds going to support the Kaneohe Public Library.

The Friends of Kaneohe Library Bookstore announces two special sales that start on Monday, June 29.

As a result of some very generous donations, CDs will be 5 for $1 and DVDs will be 5 for $2 through the month of July (except for Hawaiian CDs and DVDs).

In celebration of the US’s 250th birthday, all US History books, including children's US History books, are half price, with most books available for $0.25.

The Bookstore is on the lower level of the library, located behind the Kaneohe Police Station. Bookstore hours are Sunday 10 AM-2 PM, Monday 2-6 PM, Wednesday 12-3 PM, and Friday 11-3 PM.

We have a "like new" copy of Kūʻē Petitions: A Mau Loa Aku Nō. Published in 2020 by Kaio Press. The book documents the 1897–98 petition, Palapala Ho’opii Ku'e Ho’ohui’aina
where over 21,000 people signed to oppose the annexation of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi by the United States. The book includes high-quality color copies of the petitions, essays by Hawaiian scholars, a location-based index, and custom maps. It was produced in partnership with the Friends of the Judiciary History Center.
It is for sale at the Bookstore for $70. The original price was $148, but the book is no longer available. The Bookstore hours are Monday 2-6 PM, Wednesday 12-3 PM, Friday 11-2 PM and Sundays 10-2 PM. Email [email protected]
