We asked our residents about Fall Fest… and clearly, everyone has something to say! 😂🐷 🦃 🐑

Their answers might be our interpretation, but those personalities? Completely real. 💛

Come meet the sweet individuals behind these “interviews” at Aloha Animal Sanctuary’s Fall Festival! Bring your friends and family for an afternoon of compassion, community, and fall fun.

💛 ALOHA RESCUE TALES: WAIPUNA 💛

Little Waipuna’s story began when she was only about one week old.

Wai was taken from her mother in the mountains of Mākaha along with other baby goats by people who intended to sell them on Craigslist. But at just a week old, she was far too young to be without her mama. She needed around-the-clock care, nourishment, warmth, and someone to protect her. 💔

Thankfully, Wai was rescued.

Aloha volunteer and board member Brian stepped in to foster her, caring for her for months and becoming the dad she so desperately needed. Their bond remains incredibly special to this day. ❤️

And her beautiful name carries her story with her.

Waipuna means spring water that shines bright like the moon. 🌙 Her name was connected to Hina, the woman in the moon and mother of Maui, with the hope that Hina would be like a mother to little Wai—always looking over her as she grew.

From a tiny baby stolen from her mother to a deeply loved sanctuary resident surrounded by people who cherish her, Waipuna’s life is now exactly what every animal deserves:

Safety. Family. Love. And the chance to simply live. 💛

We love you, sweet Wai.

👻 HAUNTED SANCTUARY TOUR
Saturday, October 31 | 3–4:30 PM

Join us for a special after-hours tour! Meet our amazing residents, enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at sanctuary life, and hear eerie stories about the sanctuary’s location.

🍂 FALL FESTIVAL
