Kane County Hospital Foundation Contributes $10,000 to KCH Equipment Costs
At the Kane County Hospital board meeting on November 4, members of the Kane County Hospital Foundation board presented a check for $10,000 to Kane County Hospital, for the purchase of two new infusion pumps. Infusion pumps can administer fluids in ways that would be impractical if performed manually, administering repeated and micro-controlled injections in specific amounts, sometimes too small for a standard intravenous drip, and are among the most used equipment in the hospital. The purchase by the Foundation of these new pumps allows crucial funds to be used in other areas, adding treatment options and increased reliability, and enhancing the overall patient experience at Kane County Hospital.
The funds for this sizeable donation came directly from donations to the Kane County Hospital Foundation. As a qualified, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Kane County Hospital Foundation offers a variety of charitable giving options that benefit both the donors and Kane County Hospital.
