🐾❤️REMEMBER MAC🐾❤️
Mac is recovering very nicely from his ACL repair. His foster Mom said he’s hard to hold back. He’s feeling so good and wants to run and play with his best buddy Dakota. ❤️🐾
Mac is a perfect example of how rescues help dogs in need.
He was brought into Antrim County Animal Control in pretty rough shape. He was loaded with porcupine quills, emaciated and had a torn ACL. Animal control does a great job getting animals spay/neutered, vaccinated and weight gain. A $6000.00 ACL repair is really not something they can take on. A dog needing surgery that expensive is very difficult to adopt out. Thats where rescue comes in. Thanks to some very generous donors we were able to help Mac. He had surgery 3.5 weeks ago and his foster family has shown him so much love and great care. A big shout out to Mancelona veterinary Hospital for diagnosing Macs condition and to Elk Rapids Veterinary Clinic for their expertise with the ACL repair. It took a village to bring Mac this far. Thank you so much to every single person who helped him along the way.❤️🐾
