An incredible community effort resulted in the tabling of the vote on a West Valley industrial mining facility. This is a great milestone for our community, but the work is not finished yet. The proposal will go to the West Valley Land Use Advisory Committee for review and vote at a later date. Heavy Industrial uses like hot-mix asphalt and readymix concrete batch plants do not belong in residential neighborhoods. Stay tuned and stay involved.

Flathead Lake Land Partners, LLC has asked District Court Judge Dan Wilson to dissolve the preliminary injunction halting construction of their commercial marina in Lakeside.

The Final Plat for Phase 1 of Territory 1889 has been postponed until later this month. We remain concerned that the necessary water rights are not in place. We encourage everyone to remain engaged and show up to make your voice heard.
