Tonight was focused on PT with fantastic attendance! We recognized our two dedicated cadets for earning their first rank, which is a commendable achievement. We got a lot done and wrapped up with a fun game.

In tonight's meeting we focused on character development, training new cadets, and completed some physical training! There will be no meetings for the next two weeks, so join us at our next meeting on January 9th. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Yesterday, our squadron placed over 1,000 wreaths on veterans’ graves across the valley. Thank you to all who participated and to Wreaths Across America for making this possible. Unfortunately due to the lack of funding, not all graves got wreaths.

This last Friday was our annual Christmas Banquet! Congratulations to all who put in the work to get their promotions. Thank you to all who showed up and made this wonderful event possible!

Although Thanksgiving is not far off, also coming soon is the annual Wreaths Across America Wreath Laying and Ceremony. On Saturday, December 14th, at 10AM will will be laying wreaths to honor our veterans at the Conrad, Glacier Gardens, and Woodlawn cemeteries.
Please join us and help us lay over 1200 wreaths to honor those who have served this country.

At last weeks meeting our squadron got out the flight simulators for aerospace time and introduced cadets to some of the basics of flying and had some fun at the same time!

At yesterday's meeting our cadets and senior members went to the hanger of Two Bear Air to get a look at their helicopter and learn more about emergency services and rotary wing aviation.

Today flathead composite squadron hosted a basic first aid class for the cadets and their family members cost free! All the cadets had fun learning basic lifesaving skills and putting them into practice with hands on learning.

We have great news! For the first time in years the wreaths for Wreaths Across America are in town well before Wreath Laying day.
We will be unloading the wreaths tomorrow morning, Monday, December 11th, at 10"00AM at Glacier Memorial Gardens(2659 US-93 North, Kalispell, MT 59901).
