Early childhood educators, many of whom have worked through the pandemic, shouldn’t have to live paycheck to paycheck.

"In 28 states, a year of child care costs more than in-state tuition at a public university — and college isn’t cheap. Many families pay more than $1,000 a month in many states. And that was before the pandemic."

Child care, especially quality child care, is expensive—if not wholly unaffordable. The next stimulus should address that.
