One hour. One community. One last chance to make a ripple. 💗

For weeks, you've heard from 89 nonprofits doing very different work across the Flathead Valley.

But none of that work exists in isolation.

A family with enough food has more room to breathe.
A child who feels safe has more room to grow.
A person with stable housing has more room to heal.

One need met creates space for something else to get better. That's the ripple effect.

At 5:00 today, the Great Fish Community Challenge comes to an end.

So for this final hour, we're not asking you to give to us.

We're asking you to give somewhere.

Choose the mission that matters to you. Support the work you want to see continue. Add one more ripple to this incredible community-wide effort.

Because your gift may land in one place...

but its impact can reach farther than you will ever see. 💗

Because of you, The Nurturing Center didn't just reach our $60,000 Great Fish Community Challenge goal — we passed it. We are sitting at more than $65,000, and we are INCREDIBLY grateful.

So today, we're turning around and cheering for everyone else. 📣

There are 89 nonprofits participating in this year's Great Fish Community Challenge, each doing something different to make our community stronger.

Feeding families. Supporting children. Caring for animals. Protecting the places we love. Creating art and connection. Providing shelter, safety, opportunity, hope — and so much more.

Today is the final day.

If you've already given to us, thank you. Now take a look at the other incredible organizations doing work you believe in.

If you haven't given yet, find the cause that speaks to you.

Because a strong community isn't built by one organization reaching its goal.

It's built when we all cross the finish line together. 💗

You probably know someone we've helped.

You just might not know they needed help. ❤️

Maybe it was a new parent who needed diapers to make it to payday.

A family trying to find childcare.

A grandparent suddenly raising a grandchild.

A parent who needed a car seat, help finding resources, a little extra support, or simply someone to say, “We can help.”

Families who need support aren't other families.

They're our neighbors. Our coworkers. Our friends. The families sitting beside us at school events and standing behind us in the grocery store.

Sometimes families need a lot of help. Sometimes they just need a little help at exactly the right time.

That's why The Nurturing Center is here.

And when you give to The Nurturing Center through the Great Fish Community Challenge, you're helping us be here when that moment comes.

Summer should feel like summer for kids. ☀️

But for working families, the end of the school year can also mean figuring out how to afford weeks of childcare while still paying for everything else.

That's where The Nurturing Center's Summer Scholarship Program comes in.

These scholarships help local working families access safe, reliable childcare during the summer months — giving parents a little breathing room and giving kids a place to play, learn, connect, and just be kids.

When you donate to The Nurturing Center through the Great Fish Community Challenge, you help make that possible.

No gift has to do it all. Every gift joins with another, and together, our community can help more families.

Some days, it's not one big thing. It's all the little things at once.

A baby who won't stop crying.
A grocery budget stretched as far as it can go.
Realizing you're out of diapers at exactly the wrong time.

Parenting can be a lot to carry.

At The Nurturing Center, we can't make every hard day easy—but we can make sure families have somewhere to turn. ❤️

During the Great Fish Community Challenge, your donation helps us provide safe care for children out of school, family resources, education, basic-needs support, childcare assistance, and connections to services throughout our community.

We've been part of this community since 1978, and we're digging into our history.

ParentShare. Child care scholarships. Parenting classes. The Gemini program. The old house on Third Avenue. And probably a whole lot we've forgotten!
