BIRTHDAY ALERT FOR PASTOR MARGIE!
 we will be celebrating her birthday, which is on Monday, tomorrow at church. if you would like to bring a card or note or any other token of your appreciation to Church on Sunday we will have a special place to receive those. There will also be available some blank note cards for you to leave her a message. We will not be serving cake, but if you would like to bring any other kind of snack to share, it will be appreciated.

We want to start off 2026 the right way as a church family. Our focus will be to PUT GOD FIRST. Our Sunday messages will be on this topic for the next couple of months. We want to equip you in your individual lives to put your priorities in alignment so the rest of your year will be truly blessed. We are also setting aside the first full week of January to seek God corporately with prayer and fasting. Join us nightly, January 5-10, for a 1 hour intensive worship and prayer gathering.

We want to invite you to join us in celebrating a significant milestone. Pastors Paul and Margie Arends have been pastoring The River for 25 YEARS! On February 23, we will be having a celebration to honor them and show our gratitude. This amazing spiritual father and mother have been pillars in the Flathead Valley—and their impact has reached across Montana and to many nations. Without wavering, they've contended for a move of God’s Spirit in truth, love, and supernatural power. At great cost, they’ve endeavored to lay a foundation for an expression of the church that is healthy and built on wisdom. We are all fruit of their efforts.

If you’d like to participate with us as we honor them, here are 3 ways:

⚫️ SHARE A TESTIMONY! At our gathering, we’ll be making time for some of you to share how they’ve impacted your life! If you have a story or a testimony to share, please reach out Pastor John. And if you live outside of the area, you can also send a video!

⚫️ FEASTING! We will be having a potluck immediately after our morning worship celebration at The River. (Pastor Paul definitely is okay with feasting.) Bring a Mexican-themed dish and a side or dessert. Go all out!
