Flathead Shelter Friends Our primary purpose is to improve the quality of life for shelter animals, increase pet adoption, and to promote responsible pet ownership.

Our mission is to raise funds to help the Flathead County Animal Shelter to provide better housing and care for cats and dogs while they await their loving forever homes. Our group is comprised of people who VOLUNTEER their time & energy, spurred on by the love of animals and our community. We always have ongoing projects that involve improvement of the actual shelter facility, such as adding and

updating kennels for cats and dogs, and remodeling and sprucing up old existing areas of the Shelter. We also strive to keep equipment in good repair and replace it as needed. There is always a project that needs our help

Drama is just that... A bit sassy and a bit dramatic, but she looks good doing it. While we think that with time and training, Drama can be introduced to other dogs, but we still would like to see her as the only pet until she gets comfortable. We know for a fact that Drama has a prey drive, and so cats are a no go for this girl. Drama is goofy and playful, very cuddly and obsessed with treats. She knows lots of tricks and is house trained. Drama adores people and loves car rides!

Meet Oakley Anne, an 11-month-old Great Dane mix with plenty of growing, learning, and loving still ahead of her!

Oakley Anne is a big young girl with that wonderful almost-grown puppy energy. She has done well with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion in her future home.

At just under a year old, she is still learning the ropes and would benefit from a family ready to continue her training and help her grow into the lovely adult dog she is well on her way to becoming.

Pearl and Louie are a bonded pair who are looking for a home where they can stay together.

Pearl is a gorgeous 4-year-old white Pit Bull Terrier with a calm, gentle personality. She has a wonderfully easygoing presence and is happiest simply being near the people and pup she loves.

Louie is her 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix sidekick. He may be a little smaller than Pearl, but these two have decided they are a package deal. Their friendship is sweet, comfortable, and clearly important to both of them.

If you have room in your home and heart for two best friends, Pearl and Louie would love to start their next chapter together.

Rusty is a mixed-breed gentleman estimated to be around **6 years old**. He came to the shelter as a stray, so much of his story is still a mystery.

What we do know is that Rusty is ready for a **fresh start** and a home where he can settle in, feel safe, and let his true personality shine. ❤️

Because his history is unknown, his compatibility with dogs, cats, and other animals is still being determined.
