Your long standing dedication to supporting Loon Lake 4-H Camp, Flathead 4-H Foundation and our 4-H youth programs is outstanding! Thank you for providing woodstain and supplies, plus generous 4-H family pricing on lumber, for building our new outdoor lakeside pavilion! 🍀 🫶 🍀

And huge hugs to the amazing 4-H volunteers who took time out of their sunny spring weekend to come back to camp after the rain cleared to help stain all the pavilion lumber! 🙌 🤗 💚

We are thrilled to share that the Flathead 4-H Foundation was awarded a $7,000 Community Grant from Whitefish Community Foundation !

Thanks to their support, our 4-H Dog Project and our newly launched Western Heritage Project will each be able to purchase a dedicated utility trailer—providing safe, secure storage for program equipment and making travel to trainings, events, and competitions far more efficient.

For our Dog Project youth, that means easier access to regional opportunities in agility, scent work, and competition—without the burden of hauling equipment in personal vehicles. For our Western Heritage Project, it means safely transporting replica equipment, historical materials, and a growing collection of period gear as youth bring the stories of the Old West to life through hands-on learning.

This investment supports more than logistics. It helps our youth show up prepared, travel safely, and continue building skills in leadership, responsibility, and teamwork—both at home and across our region.

We’re grateful to Whitefish Community Foundation for investing in practical tools that make a lasting difference for our programs and the youth we serve.

Big 4-H love for Skald Coffee! We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing community partners who embody the values that make up the 4-H’s of head, heart, hands and health! Together we have found another creative way to utilize our resources at Loon Lake 4-H Camp to support 4-H youth in the Flathead Valley! 🍀

Attention Flathead 4-H members, leaders, and families!

The Flathead 4-H Foundation Scholarship Application is due March 30, 2026. The application form is available on the Flathead County Extension Website. Please complete and return the application to the MSU Extension Office 1108 S. Main St. in Kalispell. There are multiple scholarships available for graduating high school seniors and current college/trade school students. All eligible 4-H youth are encouraged to apply!

Thank you to Skald Coffee for being such great neighbors of our Loon Lake 4-H Camp and also amazing supporters of our mission and the 4-H youth of the Flathead! We are so excited about this new partnership and encourage everyone in our 4-H community to support Skald Coffee at their shop in Ferndale and their exciting new location (with a convenient drive-thru and a cosy indoor lounge) on the west side of Hwy 2 in Kalispell! 🍀 🙌 💚
