For people with Parkinson’s and their families in Kalispell, the Flathead Valley and beyond

The Flathead Valley Parkinson’s Support Group meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1:30pm. We meet in-person at the Hampton Inn Conference Room, 1140 Hwy 2 W in Kalispell, MT. These meetings are open to persons with Parkinson’s, family members, care partners, or anyone with an interest in Parkinson’s. Our monthly meeting is tomorrow, Thursday August 20!

Sherri Gould and Kelly Papesh from NeuroMotion Telehealth will be joining virtually and sharing about their specialized services for people with Parkinson’s.

We will meet at the Hampton Inn from 1:30 till 3:00.

Our annual summer picnic is coming up next Thursday July 16 from noon to 3pm.

We will meet at the Pavilion in Lawrence Park. We will be serving hot dogs and chips. We are asking everyone to bring a dish to share.

Please RSVP to 303-472-9840 by July 13th with how many are coming and if you want a veggie dog instead. We do plan to have the usual Corn Hole Tournament with prizes to the winners!

All are welcome- family, grandkids, just need to know how many to expect. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Please join us for our monthly meeting this Thursday the 18th, 1:30-3pm at the Hampton Inn in Kalispell.

We will have Brooke from the Kalispell Senior Center and we are going to talk about the science behind laughter and new experiences. Of course she will go over everything the Senior Center offers, too.

This month’s meeting is this Thursday May 21st, at 1:30 until 3:00 at the Hampton Inn in the Spring Creek Room.

We will have Lisa Harris, a representative from The Life Care Experts to talk to us about their services. Lisa Harris has spent over a decade as a business owner in the catering and event industry, followed by a career in education and then in the financial sector after earning her MBA. She has been instrumental in supporting The Life Care Experts’ signature social health program & brain health program, the Flathead Cognitive Vitality Project.

We will meet this Thursday 4/16 for our next group discussion. This month due to speaker cancellations, we will do a round-table discussion. If you have not attended one of these types of meetings, we gather together to discuss our progress through Parkinson's - ideas that have helped and processes that have not. Sharing is a great way to learn what helps.

As usual we will meet at the Hampton Inn in the smaller North Fork room from 1:30 till 3:00.
