Another brilliant meeting this week! We had a great turnout, two fantastic speeches from Shawna and Abba (so much so, I forgot to take any photos!) and welcomed two guests! Sorry to anyone who was planning to join us online, we lost our internet thanks to the crazy weather!

If you’ve been thinking about coming along, our next meeting is Monday, August 10 at 6.30pm at the Blue Dolphin. Guests are always welcome, so come and join the fun! 🤩🎤

Toastmasters has more than 260,000 members across the globe. Just 26 have made it to the 2026 World Championship of Public Speaking Semi-Finals…and one of those 26 is our very own Shawna Smith!!! 🥳

We couldn’t be prouder to see Shawna representing Kalamazoo Club 1270 as she heads to Vancouver to compete on the world stage!

While her flights are covered, Shawna is fundraising to help cover her accommodation and other costs associated with the trip.
