5 guidelines for meaningful interconnection:
1. Remember that we are all on a journey. Sharing that journey with another should always feel like an honor.
2. We are all wounded. When I meet you in my own woundedness, I am better able to honor yours.
3. Though our paths are different, we have much to learn from each other.
4. Each of us has our own inner teacher. My job is not to teach you, but simply to help you reconnect with your inner teacher.
5. The greatest gift we can give each other is the gift of our complete presence.

Gift-mindendess: when I choose to see others as the gift they are, and invite them to live more fully into that gift . . . it must begin by acknowleging the gift that I am, and being open to living more fully into it.
