The Junior Golf Association (JGA) was established in 1987 with the purpose of providing quality golf experiences for area juniors at affordable rates. In 2015, JGA obtained 501(c)(3) non-profit status and was renamed Kalamazoo Junior Golf Association (KJGA) with an additional purpose of using the game of golf to help young people of all backgrounds develop fundamental values such as integrity, sportsmanship, and resiliency.

Congratulations to the Milham Park 13U PGA Jr League All-Star team for finishing runner up in the Michigan PGA Section Championship!

After leading the pack of 27 teams with a first round score of -4, they shot -5 in the second round to qualify as the top seed for the match play finals.

A tough match that came down to the last few holes, the team from Flint came out on top by a score of 7 1/2 to 4 1/2 to qualify for the Regionals in Ohio on September 19-21.

Milham Park currently sits in 2nd place on the Regional leaderboard for 1 of 4 at-large invitations to the Regional Championship, and will find out later this month if they will advance.

The team represented Milham Park and the Kalamazoo area well, and will be a team to watch out for if invited to the Regional Championship.
