Hello, Ladies!!
We are officially launching the Kalamazoo chapter of Armed Women of America, and I couldn't be more excited about this new venture and being able to bring AWA to Kalamazoo & the surrounding areas!
Armed Women of America is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through fi****ms education and training. Our mission is to enable women to be their own self-protectors, fostering confidence, peace of mind, and freedom.
As we kick off this chapter, we invite women of all skill levels to join us in our monthly meetings, where we'll dive into everything from firearm basics and safety to honing shooting skills through engaging drills and practice sessions at the range. 🎯📚
Securing a suitable location for our meetings was crucial, and I'm pleased to announce that we have partnered with Southwick's in Plainwell, MI to host our meetings. Their facilities are top-notch, their staff is welcoming and their commitment to safety and hospitality aligns perfectly with our mission, and I'm grateful for their support! 🙏
While we're in the early stages, our goal is to hold our inaugural chapter meeting in August 2024.
