While Harmonee couldn’t be with us for our end-of-the-year celebration because she’s currently in the hospital, we wanted to make sure she still felt just how loved she is! We made this poster filled with pictures, smiles, and love to remind our little fighter that her school family is cheering her on through every step of this journey.

Harmonee, we are so proud of your strength, your bravery, and your beautiful spirit. We can’t wait until the day we get to celebrate WITH you. Until then, we’re sending hugs, prayers, and all the love in the world to our girl. 💕✨

Our preschool classes had an awesome time at their end-of-the-year celebration! ☺️

Our preschoolers had a special visit from three team members of Midwest Enterprises for the Blind yesterday! They taught our students about blindness and low vision through hands-on activities, including exploring braille on everyday items and playing a game focused on the sense of touch. Students also learned how individuals with blindness or low vision help produce tables and chairs used across the country, and heard about the annual White Cane 5K hosted with Western Michigan University College of Health & Human Services Blindness and Low Vision Studies to raise awareness. Each student even received their name written in braille! Thank you Rodney, Willie, and Misty for sharing such an important and meaningful experience with our students.
