It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the Borgess Run for the Health of It, the Kalamazoo Marathon and Borgess Run Camp in 2021.

We have every intention of conducting these events in 2022.

"Our commitment to the safety and well-being of our participants and volunteers made this decision unavoidable," said Peter Bergmann, President of Ascension Borgess. "We value our relationship with the community that has allowed us to bring this commitment to life over the past 40 years. And we have every expectation that the current health challenges we face will embolden our efforts to recommit to this important part of our mission."

The Borgess Run for the Health of It was introduced to the community in 1980. Borgess Run Camp began in 2000 and became widely recognized as the largest and most successful camp of its type in the nation. Like the Borgess Run, it has often been credited by participants as life changing and life saving. The first Kalamazoo Marathon was introduced in 2011 and has been recognized by running magazines, runner groups and participants as among the best organized races in the country.

Welcome to our Virtual Race!
Today's the first day you can submit results for the Borgess Run/Kalamazoo Marathon Virtual Race! Enjoy! To submit results, go to https://runsignup.com/Race/RegistrationLookup/?raceId=90154, look up your name and submit your results. Yes, we have age-division results! And, yes, your results are posted immediately!
There's lots more to our Virtual Race! Go to BorgessRun.com for a cool video (others are on our facebook sites), local courses (and of course you can run your own course), printable bibs and information on our fantastic Sweepstakes announcements (you're already entered), and a link to our Run Kalamazoo app, where you can share a race selfie with any of our filters!

The Borgess Run Virtual Race is on Friday May 1, 2020 to Sunday May 17, 2020. It includes the following events: Virtual 5K, Virtual 10K, Virtual Half Marathon, and Virtual Marathon.
