Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, GLAMA is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that offers regularly scheduled jam sessions and instructional workshops for musicians of all ages. GLAMA provides opportunities for musicians to share acoustic roots, played primarily on stringed instruments. Jams may include folk, bluegrass, traditional, old time, blues, swing, and Celtic. Hey everybody! Tonight's the night for the Pub Jam 🎉. Come on down to OLD DOG TAVERN and enjoy this great community event! We play music from 6:00pm-8:30pm or so~ 👏🏼. Hello GLAMA Community. Tuesday, August 11th from 5:30pm-7:30pm is the next Slow Jam in the Van Deusen room on the third floor of the Kalamazoo Public Library downtown at 315 S. Rose St. We keep the tempo down and the chord structure on the simple side. This is a great place to begin or continue to grow your group playing experience. And when you're ready, you can lead a song or two too. We hope to see you all there!
