Kalamazoo Marine Corps League Det. # 879 Join in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving traditions. Banding together those who currently served with those who previously served.

The Kalamazoo Detachment #879 is the local unit of the Marine Corps League. The purpose of our league is to preserve the traditions and promote the interests of the United States Marine Corps, to care for fellow Marines and FMF Corpsmen and their families in time of need, and to serve our community by patriotic service. Membership is open to honorably discharged and currently serving Marines and F

MF Corpsmen. Associate Membership is open to anyone who doesn’t qualify by their service but supports the goals and principles of the Marine Corps League. Active Duty Marines may join free of charge with the compliments of the detachment members. Annual membership is $40.00. Dues are submitted upon joining or on the anniversary date of 31 AUG. We encourage you to attend a meeting first to see how we do things. We look forward to seeing you the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1900.

Kalamazoo Marine Corps League Det. # 879 Marines Michael Beahon and Rich Walsh were honored to present the Marine Corps League’s Good Citizenship Award to new Eagle Scout Addison Smith from Troop 251 today during her Court of Honor. Addie is a 3rd generation Eagle Scout 🦅🇺🇸🫡

Marine Dean Wetzel also presented recognition on behalf of Congressman Tim Walberg.
