TONIGHT! We hope you'll join us if you are in the area:

The Southwest Michigan Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will hold a program at 7pm on Monday, May 2 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church (16 E. Van Buren, Battle Creek, MI) -

Brooks Grantier, FAGO, will present “Cornflakes and Cornopeans: The Collaborations, Collusions, and Collisions of Two Great Men: W.K. Kellogg and E.M. Skinner.”

The program will be “portable” – presented in three adjacent sites. We begin (weather permitting) at 7:00 pm near the porch of Mr. Kellogg’s home; then next door to St. Thomas Episcopal Church; and finally across the street to St. Philip Catholic Church. Along the way, Brooks will quote from Mr. Kellogg’s correspondence with the Skinner Company, and we will hear and see two of Battle Creek’s three extant Skinner organs. Katarina Woldt, a Katie Loew Scholarship winner from Calvin College, will briefly play each organ. Thanks to Calvin College professor Rhonda Edgington for helping Katarina prepare.
