Inner City Youth for Change

Inner City Youth for Change Inner City Youth for Change empowers urban youth to learn, lead and serve in communities and around the world.

Inner City Youth for Change programming provides opportunities for youth to gain a global perspective of poverty as they serve in their communities and around the world. Through bi-weekly team meetings, community service and experiential service-learning trips, students are encouraged to see the world through a different lens. A fresh perspective allows students to recapture their hope, realize th

eir purpose, and understand the capacity within them to make a difference in their lives and around the world. ICYFC empowers teens and gives them a sense of self-worth through a comprehensive two-year program that includes:
-Identity development training
-Community service projects
-Leadership training
-Team building
-Mentorship
-Experiential Service Learning

"Hey everyone, my name’s Kewan, I’m a junior in high school.

I decided to join this program because my cousin was in it before me, and after hearing about everything she got out of it, I knew I wanted to experience it for myself. And honestly, it’s been amazing. I’ve learned so much — from leadership and communication skills to how to work better with others and step up my confidence by making a impact in my community."

“Leadership is not about being in charge. It’s about taking care of those in your charge.” – Simon Sinek
