Come Celebrate with us. On our 26th anniversary, we are ecstatic to push toward the future and that is this year’s theme for ROAR: the future we’ve been dreaming of. Your commitment and support of ERACCE has helped grow communities of equitable practice. As a result, we are envisioning a new, antiracist future. We want that vision to include you.

Join us on October 23 at 5:30pm- 8:00pm, and enjoy food, a year in review, and an inspiring night of imagining the future that you have always wanted to see. This year, ROAR will be at the Arcus Center. ROAR will be a family-friendly night, so we encourage you to bring the antiracist babies to celebrate with us! It's that time of year again! Come and celebrate with us at ERACCE for our annual ROAR Celebration. The last couple of years have been tough ones for us financially, but we are still hanging on and it's all because of our amazing community. Surviving another year in this political climate is no small feat and so we all deserve to celebrate and have some joy over that.

Partner Event:

Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership invites you to Building Community & Coalitions, a two-hour workshop featuring Stephanie Hicks, PhD that will be Friday, May 8, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Arcus Center.

Stephanie Hicks is a lecturer in the Program on Intergroup Relations and a faculty affiliate of the Institute for Research on Women and Gender at the University of Michigan. Her recent work includes co-editing Facilitating Transformational Dialogues: Creating Socially Just Communities.

During the workshop, we will discuss how our social identities and related systems of oppression impact our ability to build community and coalitions. And we'll learn tools to support our efforts to work across differences towards justice.

This will be an impactful community gathering, and we hope you'll join us. Lunch will be provided, and there is no cost to participate. Please RSVP here.

"I Look at the World" is a poem by Langston Hughes that was written in 1930, but it wasn't published until 2009, when it was discovered penciled in the back of one of Hughes's books.

What we poem reminds us is that despite the constraints of our current reality, we can still build a better tomorrow, especially if we build it together!
