Troop 205 Kalamazoo

Directions Website

Troop 205 Kalamazoo Founded in 1916, our troop has a long history of producing Eagle Scouts. Our troop is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Kalamazoo.

Founded in 1916, our troop has a long history of producing Eagle Scouts - in fact more Eagle Scouts than any other southwest Michigan Boy Scout troop-who are grounded in the outdoor skills and responsibilities of citizenship for which scouting is known. Our troop is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Kalamazoo, and is comprised of a diverse group of boys from many backgrounds. Troop meetings are every Monday night, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, in the dining room of the First Presbyterian Church, 321 W. South Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan. On occasion, meetings are held off-site and notice of these are given in advance.

Troop 205’s recruiting event was a ‘Blast’! The scouts helped the kids build and launch their own rockets! The turnout was low thanks to our WMU Broncos home football game and all KPS middle schoolers being offered free tickets to the game, but the weather was perfect and the scouts had a blast!
