Four years ago today we laid my sweet baby to rest 😢

Four years ago today this was my baby doing what most 22-year-olds do; taking selfies to show off their new hairstyle. That day all the kids were together and I left work to go see them. I’m so grateful God gave me that last moment to laugh with all five of my babies. When I left work that night I drove past the scene not knowing first responders were performing life saving measures on my child.

Thank you God for the 22 years she was with us. Lord, please cover our children and remove these stony hearts and give them a heart of flesh. May they be rooted and grounded in love, and not hate.

When you are dealing with grief you must find pleasure in the small and simple things. I had the pleasure of dreaming of Naya two nights in a row. Thank you Lord 🥰😢
