United for the Unsheltered is a 501(c)(3) organization working to offer immediate relief to the unsheltered citizens of Kalamazoo by providing meals, hygiene kits, survival gear, and other necessities by uniting compassionate individuals & organizations. Our mission is to provide essential resources, support, and advocacy for individuals and families currently unhoused. Through community partnersh

ips, outreach programs, and innovative solutions, we offer immediate relief by distributing fresh, hot meals, ready-to-eat travel foods, hygiene kits, and other assistance. ALL CAPS....YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS....SOMETHING BIG HAPPENED!!!
I am beyond thrilled to share with everyone that as part of the Kalamazoo Community Foundation's newly initiated Multi-Year Grant, that United for the Unsheltered has received confirmation that the grant written in March was just approved!
WE HAVE A THREE-YEAR SET GRANT! The possibilities this creates are endless!
Also, part of the bigger picture is the proof that what we all do is making a difference! What we do is being taken notice of, and we are making a positive impact in our community!
Thank you to everyone for supporting us, whether by volunteering time, donations or monetary gifts! And thank you to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation for your unwavering support of our vision!
