Residential Youth Support & Empowerment (RYSE) is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 that services opportunity youth in Hawaii through empowerment and personalized support. Youth, ages 14-24, are welcome for drop-in services from 8am - 8pm at the access center, seven days a week, and have access to safe and temporary living spaces specifically designed to address their unique needs. Beyond

shelter, RYSE offers a comprehensive range of services, including counseling and mentoring, education and life skills training, and case management and advocacy. For more information, visit rysehawaii.org

This crew SHOWED UP!

Huge mahalo to the Single Marine Program for spending a morning with us at our Hale Koko Paint Party!

These Marines, many of them ages 18–24, the same ages as the young people RYSE serves, jumped right in and helped us prime and paint the upstairs and downstairs back units of our Honolulu home. They worked hard, got a ton done, and helped move Hale Koko that much closer to being ready for young adults and young families aging out of foster care.

There’s something pretty special about young people showing up for other young people in their community. 💚

To the Single Marine Program: mahalo for the hard work, time, and energy. You made a BIG difference at Hale Koko! 🏠🙌

In case you missed us, we were out showing some love to the West Side! 💚📚

RYSE joined the Waiʻanae Back to School Fair to connect with youth and families and spread the word about the resources available right in their community.

Getting back to school can come with a lot of questions and challenges, and our team is here to help, whether that means getting connected to education and employment resources, finding a safe place to stay, accessing basic needs, or simply having someone in your corner.

Starting the day by giving back to the ʻāina. 🌿💚 Before learning the art of kapa making, our youth joined community members in a mālama ʻāina effort alongside our partners at . Caring for the land and connecting with culture go hand in hand. Mahalo for a meaningful day in Waiʻanae!

Congratulations to Aidan on earning his driver's license!

This milestone is about so much more than getting behind the wheel, it's about independence, access to employment, education, appointments, and the freedom to pursue new opportunities.
