Pacific Island Praise is a ministry dedicated to preserving the culture, language and dance of our Hawaiian Islands to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through the theater arts. That initial choir became Pacific Island Praise, an interfaith music and dance ministry. The group travels extensively throughout the Hawaiian Islands and the mainland. In 1992 they had the opportunity to perform in E
urope at the World Expo's Pavilion of Promise in Seville, Spain. In 1998, the group performed at the World Christian Gathering of Indigenous People (WCGIP) in Rapid City, South Dakota. In January 2000, Pacific Island Praise toured Australia and New Zealand. In 2002, the group hosted the WCGIP in Honolulu. In 2003, Pacific Island Praise toured Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. In January 2011, Pacific Island Praise was part of the WCGIP held in New Zealand. Pacific Island Praise is proud of its Polynesian heritage, and is dedicated to preserving the culture, language and dance of the Islands for the highest purpose of praising God. Ka Pa H'a O Ho'onani, "Praise Dancers," is the dance ministry of Pacific Island Praise.
