🎾 WE’RE GROWING OUR COACHING TEAM

Lokahi Tennis is looking for passionate tennis coaches who want to do more than just feed balls and run drills - we’re looking for coaches who want to teach, connect, and help players grow.

We’re especially interested in coaches who are:

• Engaging with kids & adults
• Friendly, positive, and professional
• Dependable, organized, and strong communicators
• Passionate about coaching and player development
• Excited to work with kids and be part of a team

We have part-time coaching opportunities on the Windward side of Oʻahu, from Red, Orange & Green Ball development through competitive intermediate & high school age Yellow Ball players.

Experienced coaches interested in taking on a larger coaching role are encouraged to reach out. We’re also open to developing the right individuals as assistant coaches alongside our experienced staff.

Schedules and coaching responsibilities can vary based on experience, availability, and the right fit.

Mahalo to everyone who came out this past Saturday to help us give back to Waimānalo District Park! 🎾🌺

Together, we repainted the tennis hitting wall, installed new tennis nets, cleared weeds and overgrown areas, picked up trash, and helped give the courts and surrounding areas some much-needed aloha.

We’re incredibly grateful for our Lokahi Tennis community and everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make a difference. Events like this are a great reminder that Lokahi is about so much more than tennis—it’s about coming together, serving our community, and taking care of the places that bring us together.

Thank you again to everyone who showed up, worked hard, and embodied the true spirit of lokahi. We couldn’t do this without you! 🤙🎾❤️

🎾 COMMUNITY SERVICE PARK CLEANUP 🎾

Help us give back to the park where Lokahi Tennis first began! 💙💚 Join us as we work together to improve the Waimānalo District Park tennis courts and create a better space for our community.

Projects include:

🎾 Join us for our 2026 Lokahi Summer Tennis Camp, happening in just a few weeks! 🎾

We’re excited to announce an incredible coaching lineup for this year’s Camp at Kailua District Park featuring two high-level coaches with Division I, professional, and elite player development experience.

🔥 Coach Peppi Ramstedt
Current Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where the Rainbow Wahine climbed as high as #45 in the nation this past season. Coach Peppi will be leading our Intermediate Group (Ages 9–14), helping players build strong fundamentals, movement, confidence, and competitive skills in a high-energy learning environment.

🔥 Dr. Daniel Llarenas
ATP professional tennis coach, head coach of Andre Ilagan, and professional sports psychologist. Coach Danny will be leading our Tournament Group (Ages 15–18), bringing elite-level training, match strategy, mental performance, and professional player development to Hawaii’s junior players.
