Our concept is simple: "Reward People Who Help" We are starting here on Big Island organizing beach clean ups. Our goal is to work with vendors who will "reward" our "volunteers" who help clean, therefor making the trash on the ground valuable and worth picking up.

What a great day!

Mahalo to everyone who came out on Mother’s Day to show their love to our Mother Earth. 🌍 ❤️

We had 15 people sign and in together we removed 46 pounds of trash off the beach, with over 1 pound of that being cigarette butts. 🚬🚬🚬

🛥️Mahalo to for donating a Cruz for 2 who we rewarded to our top cigarette but collectors.🙌🚬

🌱Mauka to Makai: Earth Day Celebration!🌎

👣Join us on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 with a full day of events from mauka to makai! Starting with a Mālama ‘Āina Service (tree planting & caring for the land) at the then we are heading to Pahoehoe Beach Park for a zero-waste potluck, talk story, beach cleanup, yoga flow, lei making class, and then ending with a sound bath at sunset!

🏝️SUCCESSFUL BEACH CLEANUP + YOGA! 🧘

148 pounds of trash off the coastline at Kua Bay!🙌

🙏 Mahalo to the 36 brave souls who battled the kiawe thorns and the a’a lava rock to help pick up trash with us at Kua Bay in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.

This is a favorite beach for so so many and when you look around at the beach itself, it looks clean. However once you start looking around closely you’ll see people have littered all types of items, from car batteries to diapers, and of course the number one item picked up world wide, cigarette butts..

🙌 244 pounds off of trash off Wawaloli Beach Park at OTEC!

🙏Mahalo to the 24 wonderful people who came out last Sunday to help us pick up trash! Together we removed 244 pounds of trash off Wawaloli Beach Park and the roadside by OTEC!💪💪

🙏Mahalo to with for leading the yoga flow.🧘‍♀️

This beach is a favorite for locals and visitors alike, unfortunately there is always so much litter left from birthday parties and other gatherings. The best way to fight pollution is to avoid single use products and to remember to to leave a place cleaner than you found it or simply “pack in/pack out”.

Family gatherings and celebrations are inportant but it should not be at the expense of our environment. There is no reason to leave your trash at the beach, let’s all think of our future instead. Remember, we don’t inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children and grandchildren. ❤️🌎🌱

🎉GIVING TUESDAY!🎉

🙏Help us make an by to our program this giving Tuesday or on a monthly basis!

We made a difference in 2025 and it couldn’t be possible without people like you!

* 2,400+ lbs of trash removed from our coastline!
* 400+ volunteers joined our mission!
* 30+ collaborations and partnerships!
* $3,000+ in donations raised!

This year, our Clean Coin ‘ohana grew stronger than ever. We welcomed over a dozen new partner businesses into our community—local companies who care deeply about protecting Hawai‘i Island and rewarding those who take action to care for it. We also partnered on 15 collaborative events, each one helping us reach more volunteers, amplify education, and make stewardship fun. While we’re grateful for every business that stands with us, we wanted to shine a light on a few partners who went above and beyond in 2025.

joined the Clean Coin program this year with incredible enthusiasm—co-hosting a memorable Earth Day celebration that we’re excited to turn into an annual tradition.

kona brought a new dimension to our cleanups, collaborating on the most events in 2025 and sharing restorative yoga sessions that helped nourish both body and mind.
