Join us for a special hands-on cultural workshop with Chucky Leslie, sharing the art of traditional Hawaiian fishing net making — a practice that is slowly fading.
For the Keiki:
• Learn how to hand-tie traditional fishing nets
• Talk story about ʻŌpelu fishing and old Hawaiʻi
• Understand ocean kuleana
• Make and take home your own hand-netted float
