A heroic story when Kyle Kawakami, the chef of Maui Fresh Streatery was able to provide food to isolated Lahaina survivors.

This short was a part of our last Maui Business Tuesdays Salon in May.
Joined by three of Maui's locally famous food trucks, we talked story about how they got started, the incredible ways they have given back to their community, and how the community has given back to them.

On Friday, multiple organizations partnered to clean up Baldwin Beach to restore and protect coastal dunes on a stretch of coastline along the north shore.

Saturday was World Environment Day, an international observance dedicated to protecting oceans, coral reefs, and marine ecosystems. Here in Hawaiʻi, it serves as a reminder of the close connection between healthy oceans, clean beaches, and everyday life.

A man was robbed at gunpoint in Wailuku
