At the forefront of the fight against homelessness in Hawaiʻi are KHAKO, Family Life Center, Residential Youth Services and Empowerment (RYSE), and Family Promise of Hawaii. Ho’okahua Hawaiian Foundation had the privilege of spending time with leadership from each organization and witnessing firsthand the compassion, determination, and resilience that drive their mission to ensure that Hawaiians experiencing homelessness have an opportunity for a better life.

The Family Life Center (https://flcmaui.org) continues to lead the fight against homelessness across Hawaii, with impactful efforts on Maui, Kauai, and Molokai. During our recent visit, we witnessed firsthand their genuine care and unwavering commitment to supporting Hawaii’s homeless population.
