Our Keiki Zone will feature a variety of fun, hands-on arts, crafts, and interactive activities rooted in the traditions and spirit of this special celebration. 🎨

From lantern and cookie decorating to face painting, origami, games, and more, there’s something for every little artist! 🧑‍🎨

These activities have been thoughtfully chosen by our amazing community partners to bring the spirit of Día de los Mu***os to life for our keiki through creativity, cultural connection, and community. 💀🌼

This is how we take care of each other. 🧡

Día de los Mu***os is more than a cultural celebration. It’s a community fundraiser, and every ticket, every sponsor, and every person who shows up helps keep this work going.

After the Maui fires, language barriers and red tape left too many families without the help they needed. Roots Reborn stepped in to bridge that gap, and we’ve been showing up ever since, with our grassroots team and 85+ local volunteers.

What you raise with us on October 24th doesn’t disappear into a budget line. It becomes emergency aid delivered fast, a voice on the other end of the helpline, a family guided through housing and healthcare, and legal support for someone facing a daunting process alone.

🛍️ Browse the Mercadito, full of local artisans and comida
🎨 Send the keiki to their own zone of crafts, art, and games
🕯️ Join the community ofrenda and candlelit procession to honor the people we love

Ya está abierta nuestra subasta silenciosa del Día de los Mu***os! 🌼

Cada puja es un gesto de solidaridad.

Al participar, ayudas a Roots Reborn a seguir acompañando a las comunidades migrantes e inmigrantes de Maui durante todo el año mediante servicios legales y sociales de inmigración, programas para la comunidad del Pacífico, defensa de derechos y apoyo comunitario.

Este año, nos enorgullece presentar el evento del Día de los Mu***os como una recaudación de fondos comunitaria; además, gracias a que utilizamos la plataforma Zeffy, el 100 % de tu compra se destina directamente a nuestra misión.

Todos los artículos han sido donados generosamente por empresas y artesanos locales. Every bid is a way of showing up for our community.

Your bid supports Roots Reborn as we stand with Maui’s migrant and immigrant families year-round, providing immigration legal and social services, Pacifika programming, advocacy, and community care.

This year, Día de los Mu***os is our Community Fundraiser, and because we use Zeffy, 100% of what you spend goes directly to our mission!

Local businesses and artisans generously donated every item up for auction. Bid on massages, restaurant gift cards, parasailing, fishing charters, inter-island flights, fitness classes, and original local art, many valued well above their starting bids.

Día de los Mu***os is more than a celebration. It’s a story we create and tell together, woven from remembrance, culture, love, resilience, and community.

The marigolds. The ofrendas. The music, the Catrinas, the mercadito. Each one holds a memory, a tradition, a piece of who we are. And when we come together, those stories come alive and are carried forward to the next generation.

At Día de los Mu***os Community Fundraiser, we honor our loved ones with song, with dance, and with joy, because celebrating life is part of how we carry them with us.

Candy paint, chrome, and hand-built details: these rides are rolling works of art, shaped by families, neighborhoods, and generations who turned pride into something you can see. Lowrider culture is more than cars.
