This week we have been able to give hygiene bags, help with school supplies for foster children and a friend of the ministry had a single bed to give and a home was found for it right away. This ministry isn’t just about backpacks…it’s about finding a way to fill the needs of our families. Hands of God…how blessed we are to be a witness❤️

A bed has been found! Thank you to those who have tagged and shared. We were able to locate and receive a nice donation to pay for it. I don’t believe there’s anything better than a community that shows up for everybody….and especially those in need. Our Childrens Division workers worked tirelessly to provide resources available in our area. We don’t have a lot of resources that we can just go and fulfill the needs. Our resources come solely from voluntary donations at a moments notice. You all rock!!!! So thankful to witness the hands of God working and it’s so important to share!!

Thanks to the amazing support of our community the BackPack Ministry was able to fill back packs for 3 kiddos today as well as a cleaning kit. Shout out to Industrial Opportunities for coming in clutch for a few pair of shorts and t-shirts. If you have the opportunity to shop at the secondhand store, please do so. It is so clean and they really are picky about the items they keep for the shelves! I was very impressed!

Why we are so passionate about this cause…our cup overflows….Thank you God ❤️. …from. Foster Mama… “I definitely was so grateful for it. Because I was so young and she wS my first newborn. And I was worried about the big things… car seat, bed, stroller, etc that I got home and went to feed her and didn’t even have bottles. I’d forgotten bottles. But opened up that diaper bag and there were multiple bottles in there, all different kinds and I nearly cried.”

The BackPack ministry was happy be asked to provide some bags for a few children today. We’re very excited that we got to pass out the book “The Power of I Am” by Megan Alderton. Our hope is to give this book to every young child taken into care. What a powerful book Megan❤️
