Ya’ll are amazing. We made it through a muddy mess, but the spirits stayed high and I saw so many smiles. Thank you to everyone who made today happen. We’ll see you next year (maybe a touch drier and a little less excitement the night before).

🌪️ Rodeo is still on at 10! The parking is a little dicey, so parking on the road is your best bet. We are going to do our best to work with the conditions, but please be flexible with us. If we have to change the event order, we will announce that. We know some of you will have to come the long way around…just be safe! Bring your mud boots and a shirt your mom can get the stains out of!

Here’s the draw. First event in the large arena is Senior Girls Barrel. First event in the small arena is Junior Boys Breakaway. In the pages below the large arena events are first and then switch to small.

Concessions open at 8 (maybe a little earlier). If you camp, please make sure to pay the Buffalo Stampede. Programs are free, but it is $4 at the gate for non-contestants.

It’s June and that means it’s our *new* rodeo month! You’ve probably noticed that we changed our normal weekend and we are now partnered with Kadoka Buffalo Stampede’s events June 26-29. We hope this will help alleviate work for our volunteers, the rodeo grounds, and our participants! We know this will cause some shifting of plans, so reach out if you have any questions. And please check out Kadoka Buffalo Stampede for more information about everything they have going on that weekend too!

We made it to the day after! I’ll be honest, I have to work my real job today, so updates/phone calls/etc. will wait until tomorrow. But in the meantime, I just want to say thank you to everyone—it was a record number of kids and attendees and you all made it run so smoothly (except the office printer and women’s toilet…they did not make things run smoothly!). Thank you all for your patience—you were rockstars and so kind when we told you “10 more minutes” to get things posted. Parents, know how gracious and kind and thankful your kids were. You don’t always get to see them in the office, but they were awesome yesterday!!

I will have lost and found items to post, reminders for those who didn’t pick up prizes, etc.

Thank you doesn’t seem to cover it, but know how grateful the committee and I are for you choosing to come hang out with us for a day.
